We were living in Vancouver, British Columbia, and wanted to move to the Ottawa area to be closer to family. We contacted many builders with new developments around Ottawa in search of finding the one that could fulfill our needs. We were immediately drawn to Neilcorp because of their quick response, flexibility, and willingness to accommodate our needs. We flew out to visit with their team and view the area. We immediately fell in love with the cute little town that is Almonte and were very impressed with our visit to Neilcorp. Tanya had arranged for us to meet with their designer, Victor, and Neilcorp’s owner, Doug, that weekend outside of their regular business hours. We knew that building a home in Ontario while living in British Columbia was going to be a challenge so it was really important for us to find the builder that would understand that. Knowing that we would have fewer site visits than somebody more local, they really stepped up and made the whole process easier. As construction continued, we continued correspondence with Tanya, and then with Grace and Jody, and the communication was always positive and continued to impress. They sent us pictures of the progress so that we could see the house at several stages. Our experience with Neilcorp has been overall very positive and they have built us a beautiful house that we are very happy with. We love our home, we love our neighborhood, we love Almonte, and we love being closer to our family!
